This SMS service and privacy policy are intended to comply with applicable state and federal laws, including Wisconsin privacy requirements and the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Large Delivery Policy 12/10/2023
Mowers & More, LLC accepts major deliveries on Wednesdays only. All large deliveries must be scheduled in advance with a minimum of one (1) week’s notice. Deliveries are by appointment only and appointment times are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Delivery instructions will be emailed three (3) days before the scheduled delivery date. Instructions may include delivery address, contact information, access points, drop-off protocols, equipment requirements, and hours of acceptance.
Carriers are expected to arrive during their assigned appointment window. Early arrivals may be required to wait. Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled at Company discretion.
Definition – Large Deliveries
A “Large Delivery” is defined as any delivery that meets one or more of the following criteria:
• Total item weight exceeds 100 lbs,
OR
• Any single item exceeds 4 ft x 4 ft in dimension,
OR
• Requires specialized handling, equipment, or more than one person to unload or move,
OR
• Arrives on a pallet, crate, or oversized packaging that cannot be safely moved by one person.
Fees for Late, Unscheduled, or Rescheduled Deliveries
Late Deliveries:
• Arrivals more than 30 minutes late will incur a $75 late arrival fee.
• Arrivals more than 2 hours late may be rescheduled, and will incur a $150 rescheduling fee in addition to the late arrival fee.
Unscheduled Deliveries:
• Deliveries without a confirmed appointment may be refused upon arrival.
• If accepted, unscheduled deliveries incur a $400 handling fee.
Rescheduling:
• Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance.
• Rescheduling requests submitted inside 48 hours incur a $100 short-notice rescheduling fee.
Storage:
• Early or unauthorized deliveries will incur storage fees of $50/day for palletized goods or $100/day for crated/oversized items.
ALL UNPAID FEES AND CHARGES OVER 30 DAYS ARE SUBJECT TO A FINANCE CHARGE OF 1.5% PER MONTH 18% ANNUALLY.
Arrival Expectations
Carriers must arrive within the confirmed appointment window. Early arrivals may be asked to wait. Late arrivals may need to reschedule and may be billed according to the fee schedule above.
Site & Equipment Requirements
All delivery personnel must follow posted safety procedures and instructions from Mowers & More, LLC staff. Specialized unloading equipment is the responsibility of the vendor or carrier unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Liability
Mowers & More, LLC is not responsible for damages resulting from improper packaging, loading, or transport. Deliveries left without authorization are the sole responsibility of the carrier or vendor.
The sender is solely responsible for any costs incurred in moving items weighing more than 100 lbs or larger than 4 ft x 4 ft, including repositioning, handling, and re-delivery if required.
Right to Modify
Mowers & More, LLC reserves the right to update or change this delivery policy at any time.
